I'm using the most current TVOs on my HD Apple TV 4K and can not see Compilation Artists in the MUSIC App when sorting by Artist. They all appear fine on my Mac with Ventura. I see no sort capability on the Apple TV. Anyone know how to make these compilation artists' songs available when sorting by ARTIST on the AppleTV

I know how to sort the music, compilation artists do not display when sorting by Artist. I discovered a work around by unchecking the Compilation box for the albums. Only problem is that this creates multiple instances of the same album for each of the artists. Apple meds to figure this out. The Mac OS Music App doesn’t have this problem, it’s unique to iOS, tV OS and iPad OS.

Sort items in a category or genre
1. Open Musicon Apple TV, then navigate to Library.
2. Navigate down to highlight a category or genre.
3. Select Sort at the top of the list, then select Artist, Title, or Recently Added.

That sorts the compilation albums by artist but only works if the compilation is by the same artist. For all those compilations that include MULTIPLE ARTISTS ON ONE COMPILATION ALBUM, the artist is displayed as VARIOUS artists and the Various (multiple) Artists do NOT display when you change sorting music from Compilation to Artist. The macOS Music App does not have this problem.

Yes, it would be nice to see the MUSIC APP behave the same across all operating systems. I'm sure they (macOS, iOS. iPadOS, tvOS) are all developed in their respective Sio's of excellence...
