How do I get my iPhone 12 Pro Max out of sos mode

its not registering my electronic SIM card n saying no sim

For help with seeing SOS in the status bar on your iPhone, test the steps outlined in the article here: If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad Starting with section below.


"Check your coverage area

  • Make sure that you're in an area with cellular network coverage.
  • Turn cellular data off and then back on again. Go to Settings, then tap Cellular or Mobile Data. If you're using an iPad, you might see Settings > Cellular Data.
  • If you're traveling internationally, make sure that your device is set up for data roaming. Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Data Roaming.

If the issue continues, be sure to complete all steps outlined in the article, including contacting your carrier if the problem remains after the steps.


If you carrier states there are no issues, and all steps were completed reach out to Apple Support directly to further assist.
