iCloud Calendar Preferences not being retained

Since the update to the iCloud.com site my calendar preferences need to be set every time I start/restart Chrome. Specifically, Start week on, Date Format, Time Format and the number of hours to show at a time need to be set which is becoming really annoying. This was never a problem prior to the icloud.com update.

Hey there boy-from-oz,

That is a strange issue to occur, and we'd like to confirm more details to better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

  1. Do you have the latest update for Google Chrome, along with the latest Microsoft Windows updates?
  2. Are you completely quitting Google Chrome, or are you only closing out of the window for it when this occurs?
  3. Sometimes a restart can resolve unexpected behavior. Have you already tried one for your Windows PC?
  4. Does the same issue occur if you change iCloud Calendar preferences on the iCloud website using a different internet browser(like Firefox), or even if you change them using a different device?

Cheers!

Hi bruno75,

I was about to say that I think the problem has been resolved as I was able to close my browser and even log back in with retained preferences but I've just witnessed preferences being lost within the same session. The preferences seem to get lost when I do a page reload. I tried Chrome, Edge and Firefox and all lose the preferences when I do a browser reload. This also happens in Chrome when using a Mac.

FYI, as a web developer I always have the latest version of all browsers on my PC and and on the Mac.
