do i need to have sms toggled on in messages?
iPhone 12
Not really sure what that means...i was comparing my settings to other friends' iphone settings. none of them have the toggle "on" for sms. I have been asking everyone I know with an iphone, why when I text MY IPHONE, FROM MY IPHONE (to remind me something), the texts send and receive in green, rather than in blue like it used to before latest ios upgrade. my phone is a 12. my husbands is an 8. if he texts himself, it is blue; most people i know when they send themselves reminders to their phone, from their phone, it's blue. i even asked and apple techy. guy said as long as when i text OTHER iphones and texts go over and receive in blue, not to concern myself. it's annoying me tho; it is like my iphone doesn't recognize itself. even the verizon store had no answers, other than maybe a glich. all my toggles match everyone else.
