bluetooth pairing issue - iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS 16.2 to MacBook Pro 13" Pro M2 MacOS Ventura 13.1
cannot successfully bluetooth pair my
iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS 16.2 to my
MacBook Pro 13" Pro M2 MacOS Ventura 13.1 (16 GB RAM)
no other bluetooth issues (on either device)
they see each other & will get pairing code but they never truly connect. Eventually get an iOS error where it states "Paring Unsuccessfull" (my MacBook Pro) is not supported OK or similar & remove device.
OS is are current, the MacBook can see the iPhone connected via a USB cable (& its trusted)
the iPhone and MacBook are on the same AppleID
I have tried
terminal > sudo pkill bluetoothd (restart)
~/Library/Preferences/ com.apple.bluetoothuserd.plist (detete & restart)
there is no VPN connections
tried
iOS > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
the MacBook can connected via the iPhone's personal hotspot via WiFi no problem but I read somewhere to change the iOS "Personal Hotspot" password and try again to connect the two devices via Bluetooth. (no luck, same problem. I could successfully connect via the iOS Personal hotspot but bluetooth the devices again)
am I left with
Reset All Settings on the iPhone iOS and try again ?
Is there anything else I could try / check on/in MacOS ?
MacBook Pro Apple Silicon
