How to sync iphone and MacBook contacts without losing any info from both ?

Sometimes I update contacts on iphone and sometimes on Mac. Does syncing to each would not cause losing info ?

MacBook Air 11″, OS X 10.10

Hey there jkruvi,


That's a great question. You can use iCloud to store your contacts so that you can sync across devices using your Apple ID. Keep in mind, If you have contact information stored in "On My Mac", that information won't automatically sync. You'd need to go to: Contacts > drag a contact from "On My Mac" to All iCloud. If needed, you can export them as Vcards then sync with the Finder.
