Silicon apps keep crashing

I seem to have broken something in either brew/rosetta2. I use a macbook pro m1 however I cannot get any silicon or universal apps to run, they simply crash. Ironically, intel apps work just fine. Can someone help me fix this?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.0

Well. I'm a bit confused. The operating system is designed for Apple Silicon. If that isn't running, then definitely none of the Intel stuff is running.

This is a user-to-user technical support forum for Apple products. I recognize that apps like Creative Cloud are very popular. But you've found the one place in the world where you are least likely to find anyone who runs those apps.

The only thing that bothers me is that you mentioned brew. I've long since lost track of the number of people who've completely scrambled their system with that horrid software. Normally, all it does is corrupt the command line environment. But I suppose it can do more damage than that in some cases.

Regardless, there is a quick and easy solution to any and all "brew" problems. Erase your hard drive. Reinstall the operating system. Do not restore from backup. You may be able to restore only your user accounts and user data. Do NOT restore any apps, software, or "other files". Then, manually reinstall Creative Cloud and Canva. I can virtually guarantee that it will work properly.

(Assuming of course that you don't first install something even worse. There is no lack of 3rd party system modification software that promises to fix any and all problems and cause nothing but grief and pain.)

Say, doesn't brew have some kind of "cask" system for installing 3rd party software? Yeah. Don't do that.
