change username on apple community fourm

ASC Hosts can change your username. I have forwarded your request to the Hosts for consideration. Expect email contact regarding your request.

My guess is that they have enough to do running the forums - there are more than 3 million users. They prefer that you put a little thought into choosing a username so they don't have to keep changing names. Mine is from 2004. They didn't even allow a change back then unless there was a serious security concern.

It’s such a common question. I wonder why they make it such a challenge.
