cannot set chrome as default browser venture macbookair

obviously all my settings are ok or i would not be seeking help. is there any work around until apple sends a bug fix. its driving me crazy.

anybody know how to set default browser to chrome.thank you

Safari is not loading or slow to load after update to Ventura. On the same Mac, Chrome loads and runs normal How do I get Safari to load and run with normal efficiency after updating to Ventura?

webloc files do not open with default browser Since updating to Mac OS 13.1, files with the .webloc file extension open by default in Safari even when I have a different web browser set as my default. These files should open in the default web browser as chosen in my settings. I hope Apple will fix this ASAP. And I really hope this is not some sneaky way to try to force people to use Safari when they don't want to.
