iphone12 screen goes off during call and its cant wakeup after call end

Any chance you have a screen protection film on your display, that covers the proximity sensor on top of the screen? If you put the phone to your ear while making a call, the screen will be deactivated automatically, to avoid unwanted pressing of buttons etc.
