Why does my Wacom pen not work when I log into my main apple user account?

When I log into my 13" Macbook Pro 2013 using a guest account, my tablet and pen work fine. It's just when I log in using my regular account that I have issues with my pen. The tablet still works fine.


Have been on to Wacom who were helpful with making sure I have the correct drivers installed.


We've narrowed it down to some kind of conflict with the main user account, but have got no further.


Any help much appreciated!

Uninstall CleanMyMac per their directions , then run etrecheck again to see what chaff it left...

On CMM…

iMac running slow, several apps unrespons… - Apple Community

MBP won't wake from sleep Sierra 10.12.6.… - Apple Community

Boot iMac from external SSD, what happens… - Apple Community

Unable to make any changes to contacts on… - Apple Community


Then uninstall Wacom everything...


Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup. Could take 10 minutes or more.


Reinstall Wacom.

I don't have one to test which files need redoing... We need to see what all is running, a report from this will not display any personal info...

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...
