Apple Watch storage

I keep getting notification that my Apple Watch is running out of storage. I only have 0.2GB left. Over half of my storage is being use by ‘others’. What classes as ‘others’ and is there anyway to delete something to give me storage. Or is it just a build up of data as I’ve had the watch since 2019?

Hello lauradimond95,

We can provide some guidance. To start, ‘Other’ storage includes non-removable mobile assets, like Siri voices, fonts, dictionaries, non-removable logs and caches, Spotlight index, and system data, such as Keychain and CloudKit Database. Cached files can't be deleted by the system.

Keeping that in mind, are you seeing any storage alerts regarding your Apple Watch? Have you tried removing music, photos, media, or apps to help clear storage space? Have a look at the 'Remove media and apps' section here for more information: If you don’t have enough space to update your Apple Watch

Take care.
