Can't delete Messages from iCloud

I've tried to delete my Messages from all of my devices (1 iPhone, 2 Macs) and nothing happens when I click "Turn Off and Delete." I've also tried this while logged into my iCloud account in a browser. Is there a step I'm missing? My messages take up the bulk of my storage, so I'd like to delete these, as I have zero space left.

Hi yrsotrendy,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

Since your devices aren't responding to turning off and deleting messages in iCloud, restart them all and try disabling using the button. If it continues, turn off Messages in iCloud from Message app.

1. In the Messages app  on your Mac, choose Messages > Settings, then click iMessage.
2. Click Settings, then deselect Enable Messages in iCloud.
3. Choose one of the following:
*Disable All: Turns off Messages in iCloud on all your devices. Messages are no longer stored in iCloud and are instead stored on each device.
*Disable This Device: Turns off Messages in iCloud on your Mac only. Messages on your Mac are no longer stored in iCloud; on any other device where Messages in iCloud is turned on, messages continue to be stored in iCloud.

These steps can be found in Access your messages on all your Apple devices.

Regards.
