Did you follow the Android-specific directions in this article? --> How to redeem your Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes gift card - Apple Support

What about online using the link at the top of the document?

Did it provide a reason for not being able to redeem the card? Was it one of the ones discussed in this article? If you can't redeem your Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes Gift Card - Apple Support
