Can I use USB-C to lightning cable and a USB-C fast charger for my iPOD Touch 7th Generation?

The fast charger and the USB-C/lightning cable won't damage the iPod Touch 7, then? I get mixed messages about using that particular set up, some saying they are not compatible with the iPod Touch 7th Gen.

The iPod Touch will protect itself. So you should not have a problem.
