How to stop iTunes automatically playing when getting in the car?

My iTunes music automatically begins playing when I start my car both via usb or Bluetooth. Dangerous and annoying. Plus I don’t want to listen to anything on my iTunes and it starts on the same song every time.

any help please?

Every time I start the car and/or connect my iPhone, Music starts playing the same song automatically without even being an open app. Often, I don't even want music on, I'm trying to listen to a podcast. Wanting to turn this off #NotAFeature a) I want to stop music from automatically starting and playing - that is, connecting phone nothing happens, its quiet, until I select an app. b) If we can't turn off this torture, how can I change the damn song? How do I stop Apple Music from auto-playing in car? Apple Music automatically starts playing each time there is a connection to my car. Even after it is turned off, even after the music app is shut down, it just automatically starts blasting music again. This is extremely dangerous as it could potentially result in an car accident. Outside of deleting the music app, are there any solutions? The song play button gets turned off every time but it automatically turns on. It needs to stop doing that. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iTunes automatic play on Porsche PCCM As soon as the car PCCM media unit connects to the phone via Bluetooth iTunes starts playing at the last track listened to. The problem is that I do not want to listen to music and there is no apparent way to block this function. It can be turned off by quitting iTunes on the phone but as soon as a new function is activated on the media unit the music starts again. This is infuriating. Does anyone have a tip how to stop this? Many thanks.
