Turning table 90 degrees in pages

I have pages version 12.1 (7034.0.86)

When table is selected, rotating object at arrange tab is disabled. Also, table can not be grouped with another object. So, rotating group is not a solution. If section breaks are placed before and after the table, it does not help either as page orientation affects entire document, not just the section.

I gave above version number to rule out answers that say rotating is possible after version 7. Also, I listed solutions proposed at earlier versions of this question and explained why they do not work.

Is there a way to rotate table 90 degrees in pages?
