I just received the new SE watch. It comes with a charging cable. Apple sells a Fast charging cable as an accessory for the watch. Is there a difference between the one that came in the box and the fast charging cable they sell as an accessory? Thanks!

Yes there is a difference. Apple Watch SE isn't Fast Charge capable. Buying the fast charge cable will provide no benefit in terms of charging your new watch.
