Why don’t my husband and I have the same sharing options? We have the same phones and same iOS version.
Regarding sharing “notes.” Why do different devices (same model,same iOS version) have different options?

As that article states, the ability to share notes depends on many factors other than the devices.
Examples:
- Sufficient iCloud storage
- Whether the sharing invitee has iMessage set up correctly
- Whether the notes are locked
