So I've been using Apple Music on Xbox since it launched back october but this issue only just started happing where when I shuffle it only plays songs that have their name start with A or B and even after I restarted the Xbox and reinstalled the Apple Music app it still wasn't working properly, any ideas as to why this is happening?

The same thing happened to me when I first downloaded the app onto my Xbox Series S. While physically on the app only 3 letters would cycle through the shuffling. Like A through C or T through V, for example. After searching online for other users that suffered the same mishap, I came across your post. I have been patiently trying to figure out a troubleshoot for this (for you, myself and any others) and stumbled upon this ability to fix such issues. If you press the xbox home button and open up your Apple Music from the menu, where it shows up underneath Home and My games & apps, you can press start while having shuffled toggled and it will cycle through your entire library from A-Z, straight from the Home Menu.

knowing apple didn’t do layoffs like the other tech companies, when is this issue going to be fixed? In my car I can shuffle all songs associated with my songs, on the Apple Music app I can do the same, but when it comes to Xbox I can only shuffle songs within the same alphabetical order, only “A’s” when I shuffle. This is a minor issue that should and can be addressed immediately if apple engineers actually got this feedback. But basically we are stuck complaining to each other with no fix in site
All we need is for you to fix the shuffling on 3rd party systems like Xbox and ps5. # fix Xbox app
Ok I like the idea however when I do that it just plays the first playlist in the Top Picks section and not my library so it doesn't actually work. Any other ideas?
