Hi rahaf48-,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

Does this issue still occur after a restart? Often minor issues can be resolved by restarting. Here's how to Restart your iPad.

"How to restart an iPad without a Home button

  1. Press and hold either volume button and the top button until the power off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the top button until you see the Apple logo."

Also be sure your iPad is updated to iPadOS 16.2 so we can rule out this being related to an outdated version of iPadOS: Update your iPhone or iPad.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, contact Apple Support for a deeper dive.

Have a fantastic day!
