Slim folio not connecting to apple ipad - here is the answer

Well I decided to select FORGET THIS DEVICE which was my slim folio because I didn’t realize that my batteries were dead. Once I realized this I changed the batteries, and tried to reconnect the slim folio keyboard to the bluetooth; however every time I selected my slim folio to connect it would ask me to enter the PIN number displayed on my keyboard. I followed the instructions several times but the slim folio wouldn’t connect. An error message followed each time telling me that the connection was taking too long, etc. So I googled why was my slim folio not connecting to my ipad and from there followed the instructions provided by logitech and other people but nothing worked…… UNTIL I read one person’s comment that said that once you enter the PIN you must hit enter. I wasn’t sure what enter was on my keyboard since I didn’t have one; however I had a RETURN key. OMG, it worked. You must enter the PIN and then press your RETURN key. 2 hours wasted that could have been avoided if the instructions provided stated this important piece of information.
