Re downloading movies from Itunes to be placed in Icloud

I have purchased and downloaded many movies from Itunes. The problem is the original MP4 files were deleted because the repairman claims I ruined his solid state drive because I had too many movies stored. I can't seem to get them back using Apple TV because it is asking for the file path and the movies are not there. In another help thread it said I could get the movies back through Apple Music. Is there another way to download cherished movies again? Thanks
