Block and Deleted Messages
My friend blocked me on iMessages and I deleted the contact, does that mean the past messages have been deleted on both sides?

Thanks for asking about Messages. If you were blocked and you send a message to that person, your messages will not come through to their device.
If you deleted the contact, only that contact info is gone.
If you go ahead and delete the Message thread and all the messages on your device, then they are only going to be removed from your device. Nothing you do on your device will change or remove data from anyone else's device, unless of course you share an Apple ID.
