I have mms messaging enable on my iPhone but not able to find a place in messages to add. I’ve read that I should go to settings/messages/text message forwarding. There is no setting for text message forwarding on my iPad Air 4th generation iOS 15.6.1. Can anyone help please?

You have to set everything up through the iPhone, itself.
The iPad just acts as a wireless remote data transfer device to the iPhone.
No iPad is an iPhone/smartphone.
To send/receive cell calls and SMS messages on an iPad, you need to pair/tether an iPad to an iPhone to be able to do this using cell call and SMS message forwarding.

All MMS/SMS messaging features are all, largely, setup on the iPhone and NOT on the iPad.
I have them synced together already but I’ll check out the articles. Thanks for your help!
