Unable to log into MacBook Pro

Can’t login or reset password, keep getting message:

couldn’t sign in because of a server error. Try signing in again.

have tried several times.

If you're having an issue signing into your Mac user account, however, the steps outlined in If you forgot your Mac login password - Apple Support are designed to help you reset the password and get logged in.
