Bought a used Apple Watch and it’s still linked to previous owners Apple ID

I bought an Apple Watch used and now I’m trying to set it up to my daughters phone. The previous owner still has their Apple ID linked to it. How do I reset it?

You will not be able to unless you locate the previous owner.
