My mother gave me her iPhone 12 Pro Max and I always have to redownload apps to update. Any solution?

Here is a video of my problem

My mom gave me her phone, long story short, whenever I have to update apps in the App Store I have to redownload because I can't completely remove the synch of her ID (it seems like it's ingrained).

I don't want to perform a clean wipe because it's such a major hassle. What she did was, she disabled her Apple ID so I can use my apps via my email/Apple ID..but because of this the App Store still detects that apps are synched to her account with a prompts "Your account has been disabled in the App Store and Itunes." So I proceed to delete the app - then download it again.

Thank you I hope I get help

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 16

Disabled her Apple ID from the App Store is not enough.

Below is the only way to get it fix.

Your mom has to read -> this Apple article: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Then she has to remove the iPhone from her account, see this Apple article:

Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in

Check your Apple ID device list to find where you're signed in - Apple Support

Then you can sign in with own your Apple ID.
