Import of media into iMovie using Mac

How to import multiple photos & videos into iMovie using Mac so that they are in proper sequence.

Clips imported into iMovie will come it in chronological order by creation date. After impor, you can do a View/Sort By and sort by Date (ascending or descending order), Name or duration.


If you have a manually created sequence that you want to import, you can create an Album in the Photos app, arrange the sequence, select the files as a batch, and then File/Export/__ no. of files to your desktop using the Sequential Setting. When you import them into iMovie the sequence will be preserved.
