Apple ID

My mom and I have the same Apple ID. She gave me one of our phones and now our accounts are the same account. How do I create my own Apple ID while still saving all of my information? She needs to keep her Apple ID the same, I just want to change mine.

If you have signed into the first ID on a device then fortunately when you sign in with a different one it asks you in most cases if you wish to retain the data from it on your device. Say yes and then later delete individual items you do not want.
