The #images app disappeared from Messages

The #images (gif) disappeared from Messages after iOS 16 update. I am unable to re-add from iMessage apps - it is no longer available/listed. How can I reinstall?

Hi Susukahn,

Please be sure to review all of the information outlined in the "If #images is missing from app drawer" part of the link you came from, as it explains why that option may not appear, and what to do: Send and save GIFs on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If #images is missing from app drawer

Make sure that the #images app is enabled:

1. From the app drawer, swipe left, then tap more icon.
2. Tap Edit, then tap add icon to add the #images app.

Make sure that your keyboard is set to a supported language and region. Go to Settings > General and tap Language & Region.

The #images app is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, India, Singapore, Philippines, and Japan.

Thanks!
