Unmount shared Mac

My macbook shows in my wife's mac Shared list in Finder. We no longer need to share on each others mac, as we now network through a Time Capsule. How do I force her Finder to release my mac name?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

Turn file sharing off from the Sharing pane of System Preferences.

You're right. I had print sharing enabled on all three family Macs, but not file sharing. That showed the Macs in the sidebar under Shared, each identified by it's name. With print sharing disabled her Mac still showed there, listed as a hex-looking name. When I shut her Mac off it disappeared. When I turned it back on and re-enabled print sharing her Mac name reappeared. But it wasn't mounted. Apparently any other Mac (or PC, I presume) that sees the LAN will appear in the sidebar. I encrypt my LAN access using WPA-2 security, so none of the neighbors can get in. Maybe the NSA, but them I am not worried about.
