my ipad says disable connect to Itunes. The home button is not working but I followed the instructions and it just goes back to the same screen. It won't give me a reset option

You need a working, physical Home button.

Without it, will not be able to initiate the iPad restore, use for forced/restarts of your iPad, when the softwsre one is not available.

No.

You need a working physical Home button.

The software is NOT available when you need it.

Without a working Home button, there will be no way to do many of the different device recovery procedures that need a working Home button to complete.

open settings> accessibility> touch> assistive touch > switch it to on.

there's a home button
