I had iPhone 5, and give it to my nephew ( 5 years old ). he have done something, I don't know what ( he can't explain ), and now we can't sign in and activate the iPhone .
imei of the iPhone: 01***
previously used Apple ID for this imei is ***@gmail.com

The device might be Activation Locked. If you know the credentials to it, see here - How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support
If you no longer know the necessary information to unlock it, then it can't be used or unlocked unless you have the original proof of purchase. If you do, you can start an Activation Lock support request.
