External SSD, Error 4302, Library not loading
I recently bought a 13" M2 MacBook Pro with 512gb ssd. My Photos library is over 400gb so I cannot keep it in my Mac. I bought an external 1tb ssd exclusively for this purpose. It is formatted as APFS. However every time I launch Photos app I get a "4302 error" and sometime a 3145 as well, and find myself to constantly "Repair" the library.
Running Ventura, it is up to date.
This Library is set up as the main library in Preferences setting in Photos App. iCloud sync is also activated.
When doing a "Get Info" on the ssd, Sharing and Permissions are correctly set. "Ignore ownership on this volume" is also checked.
The "Repair" itself reaches 100% fairly quickly, however it then seems to take forever on a spinning wheel. While the spinning wheels takes too long to finish, today it has been over 3 hours.
This is just to inconvenient when it is supposed to work just fine with an external disk.
Any ideas?
