At the top right corner of my phone, it says SOS instead of 5G. How do I fix that?

It means you have no service and the phone is only usable for 911 calls.
If your account were still active, it would instead say "no service" (too far from a cellular tower). The message indicates you may not have paid your cellular bill and they cut off your account.
