Confirm iPad passcode

I have the same problem after going to 16.2. Looks like it is a bug.

No solution. I contacted Apple Support yesterday regarding the message on my iPhone and they said it was legit. So I entered my passcode. The message cleared but is back again today. I don't use iCloud for anything.

what a pain. I've been having to confirm passcode on my wife's iPhone SE 2 once a week since installing iOS 16.2 and even after installing iOS 16.3. not a big problem but a pain and it shouldn't happen. why can't Apple do or say something? This does not happen on my iPhone SE 3.

Have had this issue happen to my iPad as well (iPad 9/ iPad Version 16.3). However, whenever I try to push "continue" it doesn't do anything. Just shows the little symbol of loading and nothing. Anyone having that issue and suggestions about what to do?

It is very strange that apple has not been able to solve this problem after hundreds of users reporting “confirm apple id problem” as it keeps popping up even after conforming the id times and times. It is really annoying!

I’ve confirmed my passcode a few times now and I keep getting this notification popping up every couple weeks. I’m using 16.2

Has anyone found a solution? I’m getting this message, but when I enter the same passcode that I use to log onto the iPad, it says it’s a failed attempt. I know it’s correct because I use it all the time, but can’t make this d*** notification go away...

Yup, it's now a daily task. I was hoping thatbupdating to 16.3 would fix the issue but it didn't.
