iPhone 14pro - selfie camera quality

Hi, bought my daughter a iPhone 14 pro for Christmas and the 11 pro takes sharper, better quality selfies. Surely this can’t be right? Is there anything we can do to improve it?

iPhone 13 camera I want to get some advice about my iPhone 13 and the quality of its camera. I previously had an iPhone 7 for several years before purchasing the 13 back in September, and I was really hoping for a superior camera, considering that it cost £779. However, I haven’t been able to take a single selfie that looks remotely flattering or accurate. Upon comparison with the pictures I’ve taken on my 7, the difference is astonishing. The iPhone 13 makes me look washed out, bedraggled and strips the colour right out of everything (it’s particularly bad on Snapchat where I take the majority of my selfies.) Selfie blurred out on iPhone 11 Pro Max I have realised that when taking selfie 🤳 with my iPhone 11 Pro Max the image is very blurry. This was not the case when I first bought. It is only when I take selfie that I have this issue. Can anyone help please.

Iphone 13 pro max takes horrible photos I have recently upgraded to 13 pro max from samsung galaxy 20ultra and the first thing i noticed was how horrible the quality of front camera is. Its absolutely raw and unfiltered and makes me look terrible. My wife has a one plus nord ce (which is way cheaper than my phone) but it takes way better selfies than my super expensive 13pro max. I believe the contrast setting is not at all optimised for taking good selfies. Even in portrait mode, only the ‘studio light’ format takes slightly better selfies in terms of skin tone contrast. Coming to back camera, pics comes out good but it becomes grainy and blurry upon a little pinch zoom/ double tap zoom. Never faced such issues on galaxy 20 ultra. This is absolutely ridiculous from such a super expensive phone that claims to be industry leader in camera phones. My friend has an iphone7 and honestly its selfies are way better than my 13 pro max. I can only hope apple works on these issues on its next update esle will sell off my 13 pro max and move back to samsung ultra series.

tried that, it seems worse when she’s using third party apps.
