Why won’t my Apple Watch SE update to watchOS 9.2?

It is supposed to take OS9

Try these steps:

1.    Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger. 

2.    Restart your Apple Watch.

3.    Restart your paired iPhone.

4.    Try again to update your Apple Watch.

If the update won't start:

1.    Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

2.    Tap General > Software Update.

3.    Delete the update file.

4.    Try again to update your Apple Watch.

Same here. I’m from Poland and my SE 1 show update but fails all the time. There’s no way to fix it now. Updating from iPhone, Wi-Fi on, with fully charged battery still on charger, updating from Watch. Anything work for me. I’m really mad because it cost a lot of money here in Poland.

Bro, I have 12 pro max with latest 16.2. My Watch have 9.1 update. It keeps showing update failure on iPhone. Since I got iPhone and Watch, I have crazy problems which I never had on android phone. Every update of my Watch have problems. I’m not doing anything wrong it is just somehow blocked when downloading to watch.

PS you need iPhone 8 or later on iOS 16 to work with Watch OS9

If you are a reformed droid user do you have security apps or VPN?

I’ve fixed it using few different wifi connections. When it was connected to 2.4ghz it worked perfectly. There was some kind of problem with every 5ghz and mobile data connection.

SE itself cannot connect at all to 5ghz. it doesn't have the hardware.

but it was connected via iPhone. I don’t have 2.4ghz on my router settings. My friend have 2.4ghz network and iPhone was connected to this then it worked

If your router does not have a 2.4 setting then it is almost certainly 2.4 only.
