How do you download apps on non cellular watch?

same way as the cellular watch, by using the app store you just have to have wifi access or be within range of the iphone it's connected to

Thank you. We called Apple before I posted to troubleshoot my daughter’s Watch that would not download directly. They told us you can only download apps directly to Watches that have cellular.
Didn’t sound right.
Before you responded we unpaired and re-paired and it worked.
First Watch for our family. 😊
New issue though. I have her setup for Approval to download but I wasn’t notified. She is logged in with her usual Apple ID so I would have thought it would have. Any idea?
