Apple pay

So I bought a $20 gift card and I redeemed it on the App Store when I was done redeeming, it said credit 20 so then I go to that app that I wanted to buy something online and I have my stuff and I’m ready to check out and I push Apple Pay and it said I don’t have no money help me please.
