Can’t delete tv show downloads on iPad

I just got a an iPad 9th generation and it’s a 64 gb. I’ve been trying to delete the downloaded tv episodes I have for a few days now and they just won’t delete. They’re deleted on my phone, but iPad won’t do it. When I try to delete via the storage settings, the settings app freezes. When I delete them via the Apple TV app, they show right back up again as downloaded. Can anyone help me figure out what’s going on with this so I can free up some space on my iPad?

We would like to see how we can help you with deleting downloaded TV shows. If you reset the Apple TV app, does the issue return? Follow the steps in this link to reset the Apple TV app: Reset the Apple TV app

"In the Apple TV app , navigate to Settings.
Go to Reset, then select Reset. "
