okay, now my phone won’t connect to my MacBook. Bluetooth won’t stay connected and my phone won’t show in iTunes. I can’t download my music from my computer to my phone.
I've already done a system rest in my car. A network rest in my phone to get all my text messages. But I don’t know how to do a system reset on my computer. Can anyone help me with this?

If you are trying to download or communicate via Bluetooth, that has never been supported. You must connect your iPhone to your Mac via the lightning to USB C cable which came with your iPhone.
Your Mac no longer uses iTunes. It uses Finder to sync data to and from your iPhone.

You mentioned “MacBook”, as well as “iTunes”. That tells us you are using some very old operating system, as iTunes was eliminated from MacOS many years ago. The chances are very high your MacBook software is simply too outdated to handle iOS 16.
But you have not shared any particulars, specifying your operating system name and version, MacBook vintage, iTunes version number, etc.

Okay this is what I had to do. I had to go to settings on my iPhone. Go to music. Turn off sync music (from iCloud). Then I could sync the music from my computer to my iPhone. Thanks again.
I guess I should add. When connecting the phone to the computer, the phone is not reconnecting and doesn’t show in finder.
