black lines and ghosting

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. For lines on your MacBook Pro Display, you may need to have it inspected or possibly repaired as that may indicate a hardware issue. It might be helpful to try resetting the SMC. This can resolve power-related issues. Steps will vary by model but can all be found from Reset the SMC of your Mac. Guidance below is for Mac without Apple silicon or T2 chip.

"Laptop computer

1. Shut down your Mac.
2. On your built-in keyboard, press and hold all of these keys:

• Shift  on the left side of your keyboard
• Control  on the left side of your keyboard
• Option (Alt)  on the left side of your keyboard

3. While holding all three keys, press and hold the power button as well.

4. Keep holding all four keys for 10 seconds.

5. Release all keys, then press the power button to turn on your Mac.

I also have been having the same issue since I got my MacBook. Sent it off for repair twice only for them to find nothing. I have photo evidence, some quick video, the representative saw it herself on the phone with her, and there was some thing detected at the Apple store initially. You’re not alone. Send for repair and then Keep sending it back.
