Video won’t rotate and I don’t see an option in control center to rotate it
On my iPhone 12mini, iOS 16.2, the Orientation Lock icon is also not part of the icons you could add, or those that are installed.
Any restrictions set up in the settings for Screen Time?
Does the screen rotate in Safari?
Just to make sure, if you open the control center on your iPhone, you can't find the orientation lock icon?

Correct. See screen caps provided. Those are all I see in control center. Is it called something different?
I turned the screen restrictions off however it didn't solve the issue.
Videos won't automatically rotate in Safari either. In the YouTube app the screen will rotate to play a horizontal video in full screen mode.
Safari doesn't, other apps won't. Videos in my photo library on my phone won't rotate when I turn the phone either.
I don't see any other settings that change the screen view...
