Why is My Privacy Being Infultrated?

Hi,

I deleted the Grindr app about a week ago. Now every time I swipe down in the right corner, I see the location symbol with Grindr written next to it.

I have searched through my location and privacy settings and found nothing related to Grindr; and most probably because I deleted the app, so this should not be appearing here the first place.

Please help me to remove this annoying thing.

You likely haven't deleted the app. Scroll to your App Library (all the way to the right). Long press on the app to delete it.

It is common for users to say that they deleted an app when all they did was remove it from the Home screen without actually deleting it. Which is why it is reasonable for another user in this user-to-user support forum to suggest checking in the App Library, where an app that was deleted from the Home screen may still be installed on the phone. And added that if you have Screen Time enabled and haven’t changed default settings you cannot delete apps.
