Empty notification
iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 16.2 installed: keep getting blank notifications on my lock screen and don’t know how to fix this. Have tried restarting, toggling notifications on and off, etc. please help

Is this happening with one app or multiple apps? Are the apps third-party or preinstalled apps?
If third party, what happens if you remove and reinstall the apps?

It happens mostly with WhatsApp notifications and also texting (default pre installed text app).

This is happening to me as well iMessage notifications. This feels like a bug with iOS 16.2. It started when I turned off "Display notifications" on the Always-On Display.
happens to me all the time. mostly with whatsapp and youtube notifications.
this time it was Ring app. seems issue is definitely not related to app
