Cannot sign in to hbo max through Spectrum (provider) on new iPad Air. Have it on old iPad, tv and iPhone. When asked to sign in with provider it always asks to create new account. Have deleted hbo max app and reinstalled.

When hbo max says sign in with provider (spectrum), provider list does not appear. Asks to create new account. This for new iPad Air 5th generation.

Hi Jap1234,

You may need to reach out to HBO max for further assistance with setting up your account.

You can isolate the issue by confirming your iPad and the app are both up to date. Updates contain many bug fixes that can help improve functionality.

To update your iPad:

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. Tap Install Now.

Update apps:

2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.
