Apple Watch Series 2 deletes some Wallet passes

I am still using a Watch Series 2 with its latest WatchOS that it can get, paired to an iPhone XS that is on the latest iOS.

I noticed that passes on the iPhone Wallet keep disappearing, at first was unsure what was causing them to disappear but now I’m sure it’s the watch.

Flight passes, the Lego vip card, the Liverpool FC membership, keep disappearing within one day if the watch is on and connected to the phone. If it’s turned off or unpaired, passes are kept.

Why is this happening?

The passes are also not being added to the Watch when added to the iPhone wallet, and iCloud sync is turned on.

Thanks for reaching out cerotti,

It sounds like you've isolated an issue with your Wallet app, and found that it seems connected to your Apple Watch. We can help.

This is definitely an unusual issue, and since you've already confirmed the cause is related to pairing your Apple Watch and iPhone SE, our recommendation for the time being would be to discontinue pairing the devices if it is essential to keep your passes available on your iPhone.

That said, this would only be a workaround. You would definitely want to Contact Apple for support and service to report the issue, and get help going forward.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
