hi ishmael258,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with stocks refreshing on your Numbers document. We'd like to help.

Are these stocks updating at all during the day or not at all? Have they updated in the past? We just want to be clear on what it's doing and what you're expecting it to do.

In the meantime, let's make sure that you have it set up correctly to use stocks in Numbers. This is from the resource Add stock information in Numbers on Mac:

Add stock information to a table cell:

You need to be connected to the internet to enter stock information in a table cell.
1. Click the cell where you want the stock information.
2. Click the Insert button in the toolbar, then choose Stock Quote.
Note: If Stock Quote is dimmed, the internet may be unavailable. Check your network connection.
Click a stock in the list, or to search for a stock, type its company name or stock symbol in the search field.
3. When the information for that stock appears, click the Attribute pop-up menu, choose a stock attribute, then click outside the dialog.
The dialog for entering stock attribute information, with Apple as the selected stock.
To view and edit the stock quote as a function, click “Edit as Formula,” enter the function arguments, then click the OK button.
Tip: You can also add stock information from the previous market close by entering the STOCK function in a cell. See Insert a function. For details about the STOCK function, open the Functions Browser, click Financial, then click STOCK (you may need to scroll down to see it).

Let us know how that goes.

Cheers!
